Brussels: The Collective of Young Communicators of Burkina Faso signed a partnership with the Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Communication of Belgium on Thursday, January 29, for a period of five years, thus offering study opportunities to its members.
According to Burkina Information Agency, offering three-month internship opportunities to its members is the core of this partnership agreement signed between the Burkina Faso Young Communicators Collective and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Communication on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Gustave Konate, president of the Burkina Faso Young Communicators Collective, stated that this five-year partnership will allow its members to strengthen their social communication skills in a context where the communication market has become increasingly demanding. "This agreement will facilitate the capacity building of our members and, consequently, their professional integration," he stated.
Frederic Moens, rector of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Communication, explained that this partnership falls within the framework of bilateral agreements that his institute signs with educational institutions and civil society organizations. "One of the goals of these partnerships is to allow members of these organizations to participate in our training programs, which we hope will be beneficial to them," he explained.
The Institute for Advanced Studies in Social Communication is a higher education institution founded in 1958 in Belgium and based in Brussels. It excels in the fields of journalism and social communication.
The Collective of Young Communicators of Burkina Faso aims to promote the professional integration of its members through capacity building and advocacy. Created in 2024, it has approximately 100 members.
