Boulkiemd©: The municipality of Bingo organized a public conference for women on Saturday on the theme: 'Organization, female leadership and contribution of women to local development in the context of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP)', with a view to strengthening their participation in local governance. The meeting, chaired by the president of the special delegation (PDS) of Bingo, Yacouba Gouem, in the presence of his PDS colleagues from Tanghin-Dassouri and Cassou, mobilized more than a hundred participants from the 12 villages of the commune.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the presentations on the theme "Organization, female leadership and women's contribution to local development in the context of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP)" were given by the PDS of Cassou, Bibiane Kayalma, and of Tanghin-Dassouri, Rabiata Sawadogo. Through the quality of their presentations, the speakers were able to capture the public's attention and share experiences on the challenges of female leadership and the contribution of women to local development, which were deemed inspiring by the participants.

At the conclusion of the proceedings, both the organizers and the participants expressed their satisfaction. According to local officials, this conference marks the renewal of women's organizational dynamics at the local level and paves the way for increased female involvement in community development. The municipality of Bingo has thus reaffirmed its commitment to promoting female leadership and making women key players in building a united, responsible, and progressive community.
