Sapouy/ziro: The High Commission of the province of Ziro paid homage, this Tuesday, to the traditional raising of the national colors, in an atmosphere imbued with solemnity, patriotism and civic commitment.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony, held at the High Commission, brought together provincial directors, heads of departments, and traditional authorities, all united around the tricolor flag, a symbol of national unity and republican values.
On this occasion, the High Commissioner's message was delivered by the Secretary General, Adams Davou. In his address, he called upon all administrative officials to make civic duty, patriotism, and responsibility cardinal principles in the daily performance of their duties.
He also urged them to strengthen collaboration, cohesion, and teamwork to ensure the smooth functioning of the administration and to contribute effectively to the harmonious development of the province.
Taking advantage of the platform, the Secretary General also launched an urgent appeal for solidarity with the vulnerable populations of the province, within the framework of the ongoing "Deme Sira" campaign. He reiterated that donations of all kinds remain welcome, emphasizing the importance of collective action to assist the most vulnerable members of society.
As a reminder, the High Commission of Sapouy organizes the raising of the national flag once a month, an initiative that reflects its firm commitment to uniting citizens around the ideals of peace, unity, and patriotism embodied by the national flag.
