Leraba: The first graduating class of the OHOLIAB Bible Institute in CinkansE received their diplomas on Saturday, May 10, 2026, during a ceremony held at the Assemblies of God church. Named "The Builders" or "Metba," this class comprises 18 graduates, including 7 women and 11 men.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by several pastors from the Ouargaye region, members of the congregation, and guests who came to support the award recipients. It was punctuated by prayers, songs, Bible readings, and exhortations.

The official opening was marked by the entrance of the music graduates, followed by a prayer led by Pastor Olivier MaranE. Pastor Emanuel Yaogo, the regional director of OHOLIAB, then welcomed the participants and reminded them that the project to open an OHOLIAB center in the region had been championed for several years by the Ouargaye Regional Council. He was pleased to see this ambition materialize with the graduation of the first class, while inviting the faithful to register in order to better understand the word of God.

The singer Ambroise Kantagba led a time of worship before the reading of the biblical passage from Exodus 36, verses 1 and 2, in MoorE and in French by the students W?ndkouni KaborE and Boukari Niki¨ma. The institute's director, Pastor Emmanuel Yaogo, gave thanks to God, while Mrs. KErE performed a song of gratitude.

A collection of offerings, accompanied by a brass band from Togo, also took place during the ceremony. In his sermon based on Exodus 31:1, Pastor Paul KaborE, the national director of OHOLIAB, explained that the role of an "OHOLIAB" is to support the pastor in his mission within the church, like the biblical figure who assisted Bezalel. He urged the new graduates to remain committed to prayer and serving God.

The presentation of diplomas by national and local officials of the institute was one of the highlights of the ceremony, in an atmosphere of joy and singing. The center's manager, Pastor Mose MaranE, thanked all those who contributed to the success of the event, while also mentioning the financial difficulties the center is facing.

The ceremony concluded with a final prayer and the graduates leaving to applause from the participants.
