Mogt©do: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Mogt©do, Harouna KANAZOE, kicked off the Days of Exemplary Taxation by publicly paying his taxes, thus marking his commitment to tax compliance and local development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, through this strong symbolic act, the PDS intends to set an example and invite all citizens, in particular traders and economic actors, to fulfill their tax obligations.

The tax authorities, in close collaboration with the merchants of the municipality, are carrying out awareness and support work which has significantly improved the level of tax collection over the past three years, thus contributing to an increase in the municipal budget.

The municipal authorities praised the commitment of the population, particularly that of the traders, for their contribution to the development of the municipality through the regular payment of taxes and duties.

This initiative is part of a dynamic to promote civic responsibility regarding taxes and to strengthen citizen participation in the development of the municipality of Mogt©do.
