According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was marked by messages of appreciation to the fighting forces, the Citizen Watch and the Communal Coordination of Women, as well as by the presentation of the summary of the main activities carried out during the month of July 2026. It concluded with a tree-planting session on the grounds of the agricultural service.
Speaking on this occasion, the Head of the Technical Support Zone (ZATA) for Agriculture, Comrade Souro MILLOGO, expressed his deep gratitude to the FDS and the VDP for their courage, vigilance and daily commitment to protecting the population and securing the territory. "Without security, there can be no prosperity, no sustainable development, no real reconstruction," he stressed, while encouraging the FDS and the VDP to continue their mission with the same sense of duty, in respect of the laws, republican values and the rights of citizens. Comrade Souro Millogo also noted that the fruits of this commitment will not only be measured by restored security, but also by the return to production, the greening of fields, the harvests, and the renewed hope within the communities.
He further paid a tribute to the Arbinda Citizen Vigil and the Communal Women's Coordination for their courage and resilience, which he presented as a source of inspiration for the entire community.
