Nayala: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Toma recorded a success rate of 98.31% in the Primary School Certificate (CEP) examination for the 2026 session, according to the results announced on Saturday.

According to Burkina Information Agency, statistics presented by the jury president indicated that 927 candidates participated in the exams across various CEB centers in Toma. Out of these, 911 candidates successfully passed, resulting in a success rate of 98.31%.

Sixteen out of the twenty-six schools in the district achieved a 100% success rate, with other schools also recording significant performances. The provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Nayala, Thomas Garan, commended the CEB of Toma for the results. He extended his congratulations to the students, teachers, supervisors, parents, partners, as well as the administrative and traditional authorities for their contributions to this achievement.

The representative of the President of the Special Delegation of Toma, Par Donatien, also acknowledged the efforts of all actors in the education system throughout the school year. Bruno Ki, the head of the Toma CEB, expressed his gratitude to the authorities and partners for their continued support, highlighting that the results reflect collective efforts made despite challenges.

With a success rate of 98.31%, which is an increase of over six points from the 2025 session, the province of Nayala has climbed to second place regionally, trailing behind Sourou, which recorded a success rate of 99.07%. The overall provincial success rate stands at 97.73%.
