Ouahigouya: Former students and graduates of L©dea Bernard Ou©draogo University (ULBO) have taken a significant step towards fostering a community of mutual aid and collaboration by launching the "Association of Alumni of the L©dea Bernard Ou©draogo University (ULBO)" during a constitutive General Assembly (GA) in Ouahigouya. The assembly concluded with the adoption of statutes and internal regulations and the election of an executive committee led by newly appointed President Sidi Moustapha Ou©draogo.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting took place in the amphitheater of the former National School of Primary Teachers on Saturday, June 28, 2025, with alumni representatives from various regions across the country, excluding the Sahel. Madi Komi, President of the organizing committee, emphasized that the initiative aims to create a legally recognized framework that promotes solidarity and experience sharing among graduates, thereby contributing to the institution's progress.
During the opening ceremony, Dr. Salam Ou©draogo, an associate professor in general surgery and Vice-President responsible for professionalization and university/business relations at ULBO, pledged his support to the alumni in realizing the association's goals.
