Ouagadougou: The new Ambassador of the United States of America Joann M. Lockard discussed Friday, with the Minister of Territorial Administration Émile Zerbo, the deepening of bilateral cooperation between her country and Burkina Faso."We discussed the strong cooperation between our two countries and the possibilities of deepening this collaboration to help Burkina Faso," the American diplomat said, quoted by the communications service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration.According to the same source, the meeting with Minister Émile Zerbo focused on various areas, including decentralization, law reform and electoral protocol."Taking these aspects into account will help prepare the country for elections when the security situation has stabilized," the diplomat stressed.Joann Lockard also explained to Minister Zerbo how the United States of America can help the people of Burkina Faso with regard to the humanitarian crisis.Source: Burkina Information Agency
