Ouagadougou: The Doves of the Armed Forces Sports Union (USFA) secured a decisive victory in the 9th edition of the Faso Women's Cup by defeating the National Athletic Sport (NAS) of Bobo-Dioulasso with a commanding score of 9-0 at the Issoufou Joseph Conombo municipal stadium, as observed by AIB.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the final was a straightforward affair for the military team, with Coach Omar Par©'s squad dominating the match. USFA striker Salamata Kouanda delivered an outstanding performance, scoring three goals and assisting another, earning her the title of best player of the match.
This triumph marks USFA's fourth Coupe du Faso for women. The team was awarded 5 million FCFA and the gold medal, while NAS received 4,500,000 FCFA and the silver medal. In the classification match, Etincelles de Ouagadougou defeated Wend-Rabo 3-0 to secure third place.
