Workers’ Association Extends New Year’s Greetings to Authorities in Mouhoun

Mouhoun: The Prefect of the Bondokuy Department, Lazare Bado, presided over the traditional New Year's greetings ceremony of the Bondokuy Workers' Association on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The ceremony brought together heads of decentralized state services, representatives of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), and workers in an atmosphere marked by both solemnity and conviviality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the Bondokuy Workers' Association, Laurent Bicaba, on behalf of the association, expressed wishes for peace, health, and full success to the authorities present. He praised their constant support and reaffirmed the workers' commitment to serving the administration with selflessness, discipline, and a high sense of duty, in a national context marked by numerous challenges.

In return, the prefect of the Bondokuy department, Lazare Bado, expressed his gratitude to the workers' association for this mark of consideration. He urged the staff to further cultivate the spirit of cohesion, loyalty, and collaboration, guarantees of effective public action and a strengthening of community life within the department.

The ceremony ended with a community meal and fraternal exchanges, reflecting the shared desire of the authorities and workers to continue their efforts in favor of local development, peace, and stability in Bondokuy.
