Tenkodogo: Yacouba Diakit© has been installed as the new regional director of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism for the Center-East region. The installation ceremony was conducted by the governor of the Center-East region, Colonel Aboudou Karim Lamizana, on January 15, 2025.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Yacouba Diakit© succeeds Jean Louis Ludovic Ou©draogo, who was the pioneer of the regional management of Communication and Relations with Parliament. The governor emphasized the significant role of the directorate in promoting the region’s cultural and tourist heritage and acknowledged the remarkable contributions of the outgoing director during his five-year tenure.
Amidou Bel©m, representing the Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, highlighted the continuity of the administration and encouraged the staff and stakeholders to support the new director in overcoming the challenges ahead. He also expressed appreciation for the achievements of Jean Louis Ludovic Ou©draogo over the past years.
In his speech, Yacouba Diakit© expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his dedication to promoting communication, culture, arts, and tourism in the Center-East region. He pledged to enhance collaboration with stakeholders to address challenges and further develop the region.
