Passore: The Prosecutor of the Yako High Court invites those convicted within his territorial jurisdiction to pay their fines before November 10, 2025. The High Court (TGI) of Yako, through the Committee for the recovery of fines and other legal costs for the benefit of the State, issued a formal notice dated October 16, 2025, to all persons sentenced to a fine which has become final in the territorial jurisdiction of Passore.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in the press release given to AIB on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, the Prosecutor of Faso at the High Court (TGI) of Yako and President of the committee for the recovery of fines and court costs for the benefit of the State, Lamine Kabore, invited any person sentenced to a fine that has become final within the jurisdiction of the TGI of Yako to voluntarily pay the amount of their fine to the revenue officer of the Court, in accordance with the provisions of Article 622-6 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The press release also stated that those concerned have a period of one month, from November 10, 2025, to make the voluntary payment. Prosecutor Kabore also reminded that after this period, the judicial constraint procedure, that is to say forced execution, will be initiated. This may result in the detention of the convicted person at the Yako Detention and Correction Center (MACY) for a period equivalent to the amount of the unpaid fine, in accordance with articles 622-1 et seq. of the same code.
In order to avoid the potentially unfortunate consequences of this measure, the Prosecutor of Faso at the Yako High Court thanked in advance each convict for the steps he would take to regularize his situation within the deadlines. While thanking each convict in advance for their diligence, the statement from Magistrate Lamine Kabore specified that he will execute within the deadlines in order to avoid the unfortunate consequences of judicial constraint and forced execution.
