Yatenga: Saïdou Madi Panandétiguiri gives his support to Colonel-Major Oumarou Sawadogo

Ouagadougou: The former glory of Burkinabe football, Saïdou Madi Panandétiguiri, candidate for the presidency of the Northern Regional Football League, presented his program of activities during a press conference held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Ouahigouya. This was an opportunity for the former international to reaffirm his support for Colonel-Major Oumarou Sawadogo, sole candidate for the post of president of the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF).The choice of the leaders of the Regional Football League as well as the president of the Burkinabe Football Federation remains current.While in several regions of the country these leaders are already known, in the North the question remains unresolved.It is in this context that Madi Panandétiguiri, candidate for the post of president of the Northern Regional League, unveiled his program of activities, which he intends to carry out with professionalism in order to promote football if he is elected on August 23.Panandétiguiri plans to develop football in the northern region through a program focused on four points:Bringing together all the sons and daughters of the Northern region around the same table to discuss issues of common interest, build and maintain sports infrastructure, seek funding with national partners, and finally, recruit young talents.These are, among others, the points on which the former international intends to rely to boost the football sector.Madi Panandétiguiri has promised to commit himself fully to the development of football in the region.To achieve the expected results, he intends to seek the support of all. For this, he invites the sons and daughters of the region, as well as all the players in football, to a sacred union.Regarding the national presidency of Burkinabe football, Panandétiguiri gives his unwavering support to Colonel-Major Oumarou Sawadogo."For the happiness of Burkinabe football and in consultation with all the football players in the region, we call on the players to support the program of Colonel-Ma jor Oumarou Sawadogo, because his program is aligned with the one we are considering for the Northern region.
