Ninion: True to its commitments since 2018 for social well-being, especially for vulnerable people in the village of Ninion, commune of Kordi©, the Zin-Din association was once again present this year, last Sunday, at the site of the former rural school in the locality, to bring comfort to the hearts of these forgotten people.

According to Burkina Information Agency, under the theme "Resilience and Solidarity for a Better Tomorrow," the event brought together administrative authorities, sponsors, partners, local residents, and beneficiaries around a shared ideal: sharing and mutual support. The ceremony was presided over by the Prefect, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Kordi©, Mr. Gueswend© SU L©opold S©gueda. The co-sponsors included Father Benjamin Bayala, Moussa Bationo, Alice Diboulo, and Gnama Bako, with Dr. Didier Bakouan as the guest of honor.

In his address, the PDS of Kordi© praised the initiative of the Zin-Din association, which has been annually supporting vulnerable families since 2018. He highlighted that this action aligns with the national vision promoting grassroots development, driven by community solidarity and local residents' commitment.

The association's president, Keyombi© Kansol©, reiterated that this 7th annual Day of Solidarity aims to bring joy, dignity, and hope to the elderly, widows, and impoverished families, particularly those with dependent children. The association also engages in education, social services, and women's empowerment.

For this year's event, the association mobilized one ton of corn and one ton of rice, distributed to villages and neighborhoods, benefiting approximately 400 vulnerable individuals and local Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). More than 300 children enjoyed a community meal, and three participated in a Christmas celebration in a festive atmosphere.

While commending Zin-Din's consistent social impact, the sponsors encouraged the association to continue its efforts and invited all community members to cultivate unity, compassion, and sharing, especially in a national context marked by security and social challenges.

The ceremony concluded with prayers, messages of gratitude, and a call for greater mobilization of goodwill to strengthen solidarity and build a better future for the most vulnerable members of the Kordi© community.
