Z©kuy: The Christian faithful of the Z©kuy-Doumbala parish celebrated Palm Sunday and the Passion of Christ with a focus on love and forgiveness. They gathered to pray for the return of peace to hearts, aspiring for the peace of Christ to dwell among all people.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the celebration took place in the church of Z©kuy, where Father Paul Yadia led the Mass. He emphasized the importance of behavioral change as a pathway to embracing the peace of the Lord. "Let us convert and live in true peace in Burkina Faso," Father Yadia urged the congregation.

A significant part of the celebration was the procession, which reenacted the Passion of Christ. The faithful, bearing palm branches, prayed fervently for peace to fill their hearts, with the hope that it would enable the peace of Christ to prevail among all communities. Father Yadia also spoke on the ongoing crisis in Burkina Faso, calling for divine protection for those engaged in the mission of public service.
