Zondoma: The Association of Muslim Students and Pupils of Burkina Faso (AEEMB) opened the 18th edition of the Islamic Seminar on Monday, March 23, 2026, in Gourcy, under the chairmanship of the High Commissioner of the Zondoma Province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the 18th edition of the Zondoma Provincial Islamic Training Seminar (SEPROFI) was launched on Monday, March 18, 2026, at the Zondoma Provincial High School in Gourcy. The seminar is themed "AEEMB; 40 years of service to the nation; assessment and outlook." The opening ceremony was presided over by the High Commissioner of the province of Zondoma, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe.
The seminar director, Kassoum Ouedraogo, highlighted that this edition marks the 40th anniversary of AEEMB. The seminar aims to reflect on achievements, analyze challenges, and identify prospects. It also includes modules on prayer, invocations, civic duty, and citizenship.
High Commissioner Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe, in his address, extended congratulations to AEEMB for its contribution to the education and training of Burkina Faso's youth. He urged AEEMB and its partners to continue their development efforts.
A total of 176 participants from secondary schools in the five communes of Zondoma are taking part in this edition, which will run from March 23 to 26, 2026.
