Zondoma: The flag-raising ceremony for April took place on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Gourcy town hall, under the banner of strengthening patriotic commitment. The High Commissioner of the Zondoma province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe, urged the population to buy local.
According to Burkina Information Agency, in his address following the flag-raising ceremony, the High Commissioner of Zondoma Province, Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe, expressed his satisfaction with the mobilization of civil society during the activities marking the 3rd National Days of Patriotic Engagement and Civic Participation (JEPPC), which took place from March 26 to April 9, 2026, in his province.
"Three public conferences, a blood drive, a community cleanup day, a day promoting tax compliance, and a day promoting local consumption were successfully carried out," he noted, congratulating all citizens for their contribution.
Speaking about the popular and progressive revolution that recently celebrated its first anniversary, the provincial governor called on the population, particularly young people, to strengthen their support for the authorities. "The path to independence, sovereignty, and development is fraught with obstacles," he stated, once again urging everyone to be true participants in the revolution, which its detractors do not want to see succeed.
For him, the meaning of commitment lies in each individual doing their part and supporting the development initiatives implemented by the revolution's leaders. This flag-raising ceremony, held the day after the JEPPC (National Days of Popular Education and Culture), saw a strong turnout from the province's active forces.
