Zondoma Youth Directorate Welcomes New Leadership as Augustin Ou©draogo Takes Office

Zondoma: The new provincial director of youth and employment for Zondoma, Augustin Ou©draogo, officially assumed his role on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. During the ceremony, he urged young people to remain steadfast in their dedication to the nation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the installation ceremony took place at the Gourcy High Commission's meeting room, where Augustin Ou©draogo received congratulations and support from both the local government bodies and active forces within the province. These groups have expressed their commitment to aiding Ou©draogo in his mission.

In his inaugural address, Ou©draogo emphasized the importance of collective effort and public service. He called upon the youth to remain unwavering in their dedication, stating, "We are at a critical moment in our history where the commitment of everyone is required. I will ask young people not to bargain with their commitment and to give their all because our homeland will only be built by you."

Anatole Pengdwend© Kabor©, the Secretary General of the province and president of the ceremony, assured Ou©draogo of the province's support, likening the community to a family ready to assist him in achieving success in his new role.

Augustin Ou©draogo, who previously served in Passor©, replaces Abdoul Karim Sawadogo. Sawadogo, who served for over a decade, has now taken up the same position in Loroum. He expressed gratitude towards his colleagues who supported him during his tenure in Zondoma.
