Zons:The president of the special delegation of Zons, Wendinmi Frédéric Oudraogo, gathered key community stakeholders to focus on civic duty, patriotic commitment, and social cohesion. This public conference, organized with the National Coordination of Citizen Watch Associations, was intended to raise civic awareness and encourage local development participation, especially among the youth.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, themed "Civic-mindedness, patriotic commitment, social cohesion and living together in the commune of Zons," was led by Lassan Sawadogo, coordinator of the Front for the Defense of the Homeland. The initiative aimed to motivate young people to actively contribute to the municipality's growth.

Lassan Gouba, president and municipal coordinator of the Citizens' Alliance of Zons, emphasized the importance of civic-mindedness, explaining that a lack of it leads to disorder. He announced plans for more awareness-raising conferences, even in villages, to educate young people about their community responsibilities.

Lassan Sawadogo highlighted the importance of citizen duties and solidarity amid social and security challenges. He urged residents to reject divisive behaviors and for young people to be discerning against misinformation on social media.

Wendinmi Frédéric Oudraogo lauded the initiative as a reflective and educational platform. He stressed that peace is essential for development and called for collective efforts from all community members, including the diaspora, to advance the commune.

Adama Lour, a participant, appreciated the discussions and vowed to share insights with his village. Azara Bans/Dabr, representing sponsors, commended the initiative's benefits and thanked contributors for raising awareness.

The event's organizers aim to make civic responsibility, unity, and solidarity the foundations of peace and development in Zons, with hopes that similar initiatives in villages will entrench these values in civic life.
