The High Commissioner of Zoundwéogo, Julien Ouédraogo installed, on Thursday, Oumarou Lingani in his position as provincial tax director of the province of Zoundwéogo, noted the AIB.
Tax inspector Oumarou Lingani was appointed provincial director of taxes (DPI) of Zoundwéogo in the council of ministers on August 9, 2023.
His official installation in his new functions took place this Thursday, August 31, 2023 in the presence of the administrative and political authorities, collaborators, friends and acquaintances of the province. Mr. Lingani replaces Jules Tiendrebéogo in this position
The ceremony was marked by a series of speeches. Zakaria Sawadogo, on behalf of the DPI staff, thanked the outgoing DP for having transformed the structure into a real lever for growth and development of the Center-South region.
“You were able to demonstrate managerial and technical qualities which helped to transform the weaknesses of each agent into strengths so that management could achieve these missions.” He praised the serene climate in which he knew how to cultivate during the eight (08) years spent at the head of the DPI of Zoundwéogo. Mr. Sawadogo, welcoming the newcomer, promised to accompany him for the success of his future mission.
Outgoing DP Jules Tiendrebéogo thanked all the provincial authorities and his close collaborators for the support he received during his time as first manager of the service.
According to him, very appreciable results were achieved during his stay in the province of Zoundwéogo. The regional tax director of the Center-South in fact indicated that under the aegis of Mr. Tiendrebéogo, the DPI achieved a recovery rate of 100% in the month of August.
As soon as he was installed, Oumarou Lingani thanked the highest authorities for the trust placed in him. He said he was aware of the demands of the position and the height of the challenges to be met. He is also committed to working to earn that trust.
Mr. Lingani requested the support of DPI agents and all provincial and regional authorities to effectively fulfill his mission.
The high commissioner of Zoundwéogo, Julien Ouédraogo, invited the entrant to work and humility in order to achieve the objectives set with regard to the requirements that Burkina Faso faces.
