Zoundw©ogo: Muslim worshippers in the commune of Gogo gathered to celebrate the Tabaski festival, also known as Eid al-Adha, at the grand mosque. The event was marked by an atmosphere of religious devotion, fraternity, and contemplation, attended by customary and administrative authorities and representatives from other religious communities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Imam Ousmane Guigma delivered a sermon urging the community to foster unity, love for one’s neighbor, and solidarity to enhance social cohesion and maintain lasting peace. Emmanuel Segda, representing the president of the special delegation of Gogo, extended wishes for a happy Tabaski festival to all Muslim faithful and praised the imam’s message as a call for peace, tolerance, and coexistence.

The Nabikinga of Gogo expressed gratitude to the representatives of other religious denominations for their presence and support. He conveyed his best wishes for a joyous holiday to the entire population, emphasizing the importance of the day’s prayers in strengthening faith, brotherhood, and commitment to enduring social harmony.
