Manga: The commemorative activities of International Youth Day concluded on Thursday in Manga with a march in support of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP), in homage to the heroes of the Burkinabe Revolution, followed by an aerobics session. The march mobilized several components of the population, including young people, defense and security forces (FDS), as well as citizen watch actors.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of the province of Zoundwogo, Julien Oudraogo, praised the mobilization of young people, believing that it reflects their commitment to the success of the RPP. He invited young people to strengthen their commitment to the success of the RPP, which he presented as crucial for Burkina Faso and the Confederation of Sahel States (AES).
For the provincial director in charge of sports, youth, and employment in Zoundwogo, Skou Sabo, the march was an extension of the activities of International Youth Day, following a panel organized in the morning on the theme "Life of a Revolutionary". According to him, this mobilization aimed to allow young people to demonstrate their support for the RPP, presented as an orientation intended to chart the path of development for Burkina Faso.
Mr. Sabo also highlighted the march's contribution to social cohesion, given the participation of different segments of the population. "Without cohesion and discipline, we cannot build a prosperous country," he stated. For Bouda Isidore, a young participant in the march, the mobilization observed in Manga testifies to the commitment of the youth. He called on his peers to cultivate patriotism and to better support the actions of the authorities. He also urged young people to remain mobilized and united around the RPP dynamic, believing that everyone's commitment is essential to accelerating the achievement of results.
