Ouagadougou: The Ahmadiyya Islamic Community of Burkina Faso has once again demonstrated its commitment to serving humanity through a voluntary blood donation operation, organized this Sunday, September 13, 2026, in Tenkodogo, on the sidelines of the 23rd National Ijtema of the Majlis Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the operation was conducted in collaboration with the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre (CRTS) of Tenkodogo, leading to the collection of 126 bags of blood. Held under the theme "Love for one's neighbor beyond differences," the annual meeting of Ahmadi Muslim youth took place from September 11 to 13, 2026, in Tenkodogo. This blood drive is part of "Khidmat-e-Khalq," service to humanity.

The campaign saw a high level of participation, with a total of 137 candidates applying. Following the preliminary medical interview, 11 people were declared unfit. Ultimately, 126 donors were able to perform their act of solidarity, thus exceeding the initial target of 125 bags.

Through this initiative, young Ahmadi Muslims combined their annual conference with a social and humanitarian action. For the organizers, voluntary blood donation is a concrete way to demonstrate solidarity and compassion towards those in need. The operation thus gave concrete expression to the theme of this 23rd edition, making support for others a real commitment, beyond differences.
