Ouagadougou: 132 children and young people are embracing civic values through Faso Meebo. The Pointoua association mobilized 132 children and young people from Ro on Saturday, August 22, for a session of community service at the Faso Meebo site, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, for more than three hours, from 9 a.m. to 12:05 p.m., these children joined forces to contribute to the construction of the common building, thus discovering the joy of manual and collective work.

Joseph Badolo, head of the Pointoua association, praised the event as "a very beautiful and enriching experience" which he hopes will be replicated by other local organizations. He expressed his gratitude to the parents for their trust, as well as to their partner, who ensured the young participants' thirst was quenched, and to the Faso Meebo coordination team for their guidance.

For his part, the representative of Faso Meebo, Yaya Ganemtor, conveyed the provincial coordination's gratitude to the Pointoua association and the young volunteers for this significant contribution.

Beyond civic projects, the Pointoua association offers a complete learning environment for children, including the history of their locality, introduction to the Lyele language and the practice of traditional dance, the binon, among other things.
