Bogande: 54 new justice professionals were sworn in at the High Court of Bogande, marking their official entry into office. The ceremony, presided over by the president of the TGI, Tierobemane Arsene Some, included two clerks, a member of the Judicial Assistance Commission, and fifty-one prison security guards.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was held in the presence of judicial and penitentiary authorities of Gnagna. The candidates swore to perform their duties with loyalty, dignity, and fidelity to the laws of the Republic. Presiding judge Magistrate Tierobemane Arsene Some opened the hearing, followed by observations from the prosecutor of Faso, Magistrate Ange Millogo, before the clerk read the texts governing the swearing-in ceremony.

In its submission, the prosecution highlighted the duties and roles of each applicant as per applicable laws. Prosecutor Ange Millogo emphasized the importance of rigorous adherence to law among court clerks and the Legal Aid Commission member for the benefit of justice seekers.

For the 51 prison security guards, the prosecutor commended the director of the Bogande detention and correction house for ensuring compliance among agents. He praised the new officers' sense of duty, urging them to exemplify integrity, discipline, and professionalism.

"You are the vanguard of justice. Be exemplary actors, attentive to the people and concerned with the satisfaction of those seeking justice," the prosecutor stressed. He also advised them to prioritize dialogue and prevention in their daily actions, reminding them that repression should come later.

This swearing-in ceremony is a significant step in strengthening the justice system in Gnagna province. With these new officers, the Bogande High Court now boasts a larger, legally sworn staff, ensuring improved public justice service functioning.

The new appointees acknowledged the gravity of their commitment, reaffirming their dedication to honoring the trust placed in them and serving the population in accordance with the law and human rights.
