Ipelc©: Communities Strengthen Social Cohesion Through Cultural Day Celebrations

Ipelc©: The people of the rural commune of Ipelc© celebrated their cultural day on Wednesday under the theme "For lasting peace and social cohesion in the commune of Ipelc©, let's promote Burkinabe culture." Ipelc© experienced a festive atmosphere this Saturday, May 17, 2025, as the sons, daughters, and residents of the commune unitedly celebrated harmonious living together through the organization of their cultural day.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the special delegation of the commune of Ipelc©, ‚¬Å¡¬€¦¡¬€š¬¦¡¬°meline Kiemtor©/Bonkoungou, stated that this activity is part of the month of Burkinabe cultural heritage running from April 18 to May 18. On this occasion, several activities were organized, including a night dedicated to traditional tales, the exhibition of traditional objects in danger of disappearing, the teaching of royal greetings to the younger generations at the royal palace of Naaba Sonr©, Chief of the canton of Ipelc©, a public conference, a shopping street, and performances by artists, among others.

In addition to these activities, the organizers donated one ton of rice, 40 bags of 25 kg, and mats to vulnerable people in the locality. This day served as a platform for Mrs. Kiemtor© to invite all sons and daughters and active forces, without distinction, to always promote cultural values and strengthen social cohesion for lasting peace and harmonious development of the commune of Ipelc©.
