Mouhoun Records 30.56% Success Rate in 2025 BEPC First Round

Mouhoun: The results of the first round of the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) for 2025 have been announced across the six provinces of the Boucle du Mouhoun region. The region has achieved 4,514 admissions, including 2,233 girls, marking a regional success rate of 30.56%, which represents a slight increase of 0.33% compared to the previous year's session.

According to Burkina Information Agency, out of 15,113 registered candidates, 14,769 appeared at the examination centers. The region's success includes 4,514 admissions in the first round, with a notable presence of female candidates, totaling 2,233. This leads to an overall success rate of 30.56%.

In the second round, 7,199 candidates remain, comprising 4,315 girls and 2,884 boys. The province of Sourou emerged at the top of the list with a success rate of 34.65%, followed by Mouhoun at 34.15%. The Bal© province secured third place with a success rate of 30.23%.

The province of Kossi ranked fourth with a rate of 27.45%, while Banwa and Nayala followed in fifth and sixth positions with 25.97% and 22.15% respectively. Technicians noted that these results signify an improvement from the 2024 session, which had a first-round success rate of 30.23%.
