Koupéla: The final of the 4th edition of the Maracana des métiers witnessed a thrilling victory for the poultry sellers' team, who defeated the transporters' team with a score of 2 goals to 1. The event took place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Koupéla, and was organized by the Youth Action Association under the theme "Sharing and social cohesion."According to Burkina Information Agency, the tournament featured a total of 12 teams competing in this year's edition. The poultry sellers' team, emerging victorious in the final match, secured the trophy along with a ball and a financial reward of 60,000 FCFA. They also received special prizes in recognition of their performance.The transporters' team, finishing as runners-up, was awarded a financial package of 40,000 FCFA. Reflecting on the victory, Désiré Kaboré, the captain of the winning team, expressed satisfaction, noting their previous experience in the final last year, which they had lost. He highlighted the initiative's role in fostering unity among yo ung people, contributing to social cohesion.Kiswendsida Narcisse Tougma, president of the Youth Action Association, emphasized the tournament's objective to bring various trades together.
