Gay©ri: The residents of the town of Gay©ri have rehabilitated a road linking two localities in the commune, with the aim of improving traffic flow during the rainy season.
According to Burkina Information Agency, since June 28, 2025, the residents of Gay©ri have been working to restore this road, located between Gay©ri center and the Tougoupouoli district. During the rainy season, a vast lowland separating these two areas makes traffic particularly difficult.
To address this problem, the National Coordination of Citizen Monitoring, Komondjari section, in collaboration with the focal points of the Presidential Initiative for Community Development, launched this community initiative.
Equipped with tricycles, pickaxes, carts and other tools, the population came out en masse on June 28 and 30, as well as on July 5, 2025, to carry out the rehabilitation work on this strategic section.
According to Lariba Combary, focal point of the National Coordination of Citizen Monitoring for Komondjari, this activity aims not only to improve population mobility, but also to reflect citizens' commitment to the Progressive Popular Revolution.
