Sissili: Young people from Goyarro (Bissiou) unite to repair an impassable road crossing a lowland. The youth of Goyarro (Bissiou), a locality located in the commune of Bi©ha, province of Sissili, in the Nando region, mobilized on the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, for a work of common interest aimed at making the road crossing the lowland connecting their village to that of Latian passable.
According to Burkina Information Agency, every winter, this section becomes a real ordeal for users, putting a strain on travel between the two towns. Faced with this situation, the young people of Goyarro (Bissiou) have decided to take the lead.
Armed with shovels, picks, sand, and stones, they met to fill in the most critical parts of this lowland, in the hope of improving traffic and partially opening up their area.
"I am very satisfied with what the youth are doing today. The development of our village must first come from ourselves, before calling on partners," confided a resident of Goyarro (Bissiou), Elis©e Batiga Nacro, visibly satisfied with the mobilization.
The operation also received support from some well-wishers. Passersby on motorcycles, tricycles, and cars spontaneously contributed, each in their own way, to encourage this community action.
This citizen initiative is part of the vision carried by the 'Faso Mªbo' concept, which promotes endogenous commitment to local development.
With this symbolic but powerful gesture, the youth of Goyarro (Bissiou) demonstrate that with a little willpower, it is possible to provide concrete answers to the daily problems of the population.
