Ouagadougou: On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the National Armed Forces of Burkina Faso celebrated on November 1, 2025, the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) of the commune of Bittou, in collaboration with the population, organized a gala, civil-military match on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Bittou to strengthen cohesion between civilians and FDS.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the civilian-military exhibition match took place at the Bittou municipal stadium. The event was attended by local Defense and Security Forces, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), supporters from various sectors, and former players. The Defense and Security Forces emerged victorious with a 4-1 win over the civilian team.

The primary aim of the exhibition match was to reinforce social cohesion and peace, as well as to promote good collaboration between the Defense and Security Forces, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), and the local population. Additional activities are planned in the coming days to further strengthen this cohesion among the different segments of the Bittou community.
