Nahouri: The President of the Special Delegation of the municipality of Po, Illassa Dianda, installed the head of the Po Departmental Water and Forestry Service, Lieutenant Abdoul Rasmane Bamogo, promising to give his best to successfully complete the mission entrusted to him.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the installation ceremony took place on Monday, November 3, 2025, in Po. During the event, Lieutenant Bamogo expressed his gratitude to the officials of the environment department for entrusting him with the leadership of environmental policy in Po. He emphasized his commitment to building upon the foundations laid by his predecessor.

Lieutenant Bamogo highlighted the importance of preserving and strengthening the achievements made by the outgoing head of the department, Benjamin Ouedraogo. Mr. Ouedraogo, reflecting on his tenure, praised the support he received from various socio-professional groups, which he credited for his successful leadership over the past year.

Illassa Dianda, the President of the special delegation, congratulated Mr. Ouedraogo for his collaboration and wished him success in his future endeavors. Mr. Ouedraogo has been appointed as the head of the Departmental Water and Forestry Service of Guiaro, also in the Nahouri province. Dianda also expressed his willingness to support Lieutenant Bamogo in overcoming any challenges that may arise.
