Loroum: The Secretary General of Loroum Province, David Ayoro, chaired the Titao District Health Council (CSD) meeting, focusing on ongoing health initiatives and strategic recommendations for future improvements. The meeting convened various stakeholders, including administrative authorities, community representatives, NGOs, and local associations.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the council's session centered around an upcoming polio vaccination campaign, set to run from November 7 to 10, 2025. This campaign will also include vitamin A supplementation, malnutrition screening, and deworming efforts. The campaign targets children aged 0 to 59 months for polio vaccination and vitamin A supplementation, while deworming efforts are geared towards children aged 12 to 59 months.

The council further assessed the implementation of the Kapalin Advanced Health Post (AHP), a project backed by the NGO World Vision, which has shown significant positive impacts on community health. Additionally, the session involved a detailed evaluation of the district's health coverage, identifying underserved areas and challenges related to human resources, medicine supply, and infrastructure management.

Participants at the meeting proposed actionable recommendations to enhance coordination among stakeholders and bolster ground-level interventions. David Ayoro urged community and association leaders to engage actively in ensuring the success of the upcoming vaccination campaign.
