Guiriko/customs: The Bobo-Dioulasso Mobile Customs Brigade intercepted a private vehicle transporting a large quantity of illicit goods, carefully concealed, during the night of November 5-6, 2025. The value of the seizure is estimated at over 30 million CFA francs.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this operation was conducted with the utmost rigor befitting the highest professional standards, reflecting the spirit of vigilance and responsibility that the Director General has consistently instilled in the units since the beginning of his tour of western Cameroon. The message of commitment, loyalty, and determination delivered in Bobo-Dioulasso, Niangoloko, Banfora, and Peni resonated immediately in the Houet region.

The Director General of Customs, Divisional Inspector Yves Kafando, congratulated the officers on this achievement, a symbol of the units' sense of duty and constant vigilance. He reaffirmed that every seizure is a victory for the Republic, an act of economic and patriotic resistance against the multifaceted threats facing our nation.
