Ouagadougou: Entrepreneur Zakaria Taram, residing in Italy, has carried out the solar electrification of the new Health and Social Promotion Center (CSPS) in the commune of Saaba, at an estimated cost of approximately eight million CFA francs. The official handover of the infrastructure took place on Thursday, in the presence of the representative of the minister in charge of territorial administration, the president of the special delegation of Saaba, the traditional chiefs, and the health workers of the center.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this gesture by Mr. Taram is part of the momentum initiated by the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traore, who invites the diaspora to actively contribute to the development of Burkina Faso. Mr. Taram, a resident of Italy, stated that the actions of the Burkinabe government inspired him to support the Saaba CSPS, and he encourages other members of the diaspora to follow suit.

The head nurse at the post, Aline Kere, expressed her deep gratitude to the benefactor, highlighting that the new lighting will enable better care for patients. She conveyed her pleasure and appreciation for the donor's contribution.

Adolphe Athanase Thiombiano, the president of the special delegation of Saaba, remarked that this action brings security, dignity, and hope to the community. He noted that, until recently, agents used the light from their mobile phones to treat the sick, assist women in labor, and manage emergencies.

Boukari Savadogo, the representative of the minister in charge of territorial administration, praised this exemplary initiative, emphasizing that the act demonstrates the diaspora as a strategic force, a lever for development, and a reservoir of patriotic initiatives.

Zakaria Taram expressed his desire to contribute to improving the working conditions of health workers and the well-being of the population through this action.
