Boulgou: The polio vaccination campaign, alongside vitamin A supplementation, deworming, and treatment for acute malnutrition for children aged 0 to 59 months, commenced in the Bittou health district.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative began on Friday, November 7, 2025, and is set to run until November 10, 2025. The campaign aims to vaccinate at least 42,000 children within the specified age range against polio in the district.

BouGahiri AHImam, the head nurse of the Bittou urban CSPS, emphasized the measures being taken to ensure the success of the vaccination drive. He urged parents to participate actively to help the health district meet its targets.
