Solenzo: The Secretary General of Banwa Province, Abdoul Kader KongZabre, representing the High Commissioner, launched the 10th edition of the inter-service tournament on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Solenzo "A" school grounds. After a light rain, football enthusiasts flocked to the Solenzo "A" school grounds to watch the opening match of the 10th edition, pitting the Defense Forces team against the Security Forces team.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the honor of kicking off the match was given to Captain Papa Parfait Kambou, commander of the 18th Rapid Intervention Battalion. The soldiers wore blue jerseys, while the security detail, including police officers and forest rangers, wore black jerseys. The first half ended in a goalless draw. It was a thrilling match with several missed scoring opportunities. At the end of regulation time, the score remained 0-0 between the two teams.

In the penalty shootout, the Security team proved more clinical in front of goal, converting one penalty to their opponents' zero. Football fans are invited to tune in on Saturdays and Sundays for the continuation of the competition. The final is scheduled for the end of December 2025.
