Ouagadougou: The population and the constituted bodies were filling in the road at the central roundabout. The local population, in collaboration with the Noumbiel authorities, organized a roadwork day this Saturday on the road connecting the central roundabout to the main market, which was previously in very poor condition.

According to Burkina Information Agency, men, women, children, members of the security forces, and volunteers responded to the call, armed with shovels, picks, hoes, and wheelbarrows; their determination was evident. People of goodwill also provided support by making rolling stock and water available.

The objective was to improve traffic flow on this route, which had become difficult to access for some time. The head of the special delegation, Issoufou Sory, the top official in the municipality of Batie, made no secret of his satisfaction. He thanked the population and the authorities, while urging them to continue in the same spirit to achieve the common goal.
