Koosin: The evangelical church of Kamiankoro in the commune of Bourasso organized a day of prayer for peace and social cohesion for the benefit of Burkina Faso.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event took place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, during the Feast of First Fruits and was organized by the Evangelical Church of the Christian Alliance of Kamiankoro. The day of prayer brought together various religious denominations to pray for peace and social cohesion across the nation. Special prayers were also directed towards the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), and the entire population of Kamiankoro.

The celebration was marked by singing and dancing, engaging the faithful and guests from neighboring villages. This event held particular significance as it was the first gathering since the village was resettled, bringing visible joy and a sense of reunion to the participants.

Pastor Juslain Traore expressed the community's joy, stating, "It is a great joy for us because this year we were able to grow and harvest at home. Something we had been deprived of for two long years." His sentiments highlighted the relief and gratitude of the villagers who had faced prolonged hardships.

Luc Kioho, the pastor of the evangelical church of Kamiankoro, extended thanks to God and acknowledged the efforts of Captain Ibrahim Traore, the head of state, along with the FDS and VDP for their contributions to the village's resettlement.
