Ouagadougou: The National Development Service (SND) announced on Wednesday the commencement of a national competition aimed at recognizing excellence in tools and strategies for the socio-professional integration of conscripts within the National Patriotic Service. The competition, scheduled to open on November 24, 2025, seeks to highlight the most innovative initiatives by young Burkinabe.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Tampougre Sia, the representative of the Director General of the SND, stated that applications will be accepted from November 24 to December 6, 2025. Interested participants can apply exclusively online via the platform https://bit.ly/Appel5ND2025. Mr. Sia emphasized that the competition is open to all Burkinabe residing either within the national territory or abroad. This includes young entrepreneurs, artisans, consultants, trainers, conscripts, startups, training centers, and those involved in integration initiatives.
The announcement was made during a press conference in Ouagadougou on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The competition's pre-selection and evaluation phase will occur from December 7 to 15, followed by an awards ceremony in early 2026. The top five projects will receive financial prizes and trophies. Additionally, winners will be designated as resource persons for the National Development Service.
Tampougre Sia highlighted that the competition presents a unique opportunity for youth and individuals involved in social integration to showcase their creativity and commitment. It is a chance to propose sustainable solutions that can contribute to the country's development.
According to the National Development Service, the competition aims to encourage and promote innovative solutions in fields such as entrepreneurship, vocational training, digital technology, social services, sustainable agriculture, and green jobs. The representative urged potential candidates to submit their applications within the specified timeframe and to take advantage of this opportunity to actively participate in Burkina Faso's development.
