Kampti: The Kampti Basic Education District (CEB) held a handover ceremony on Thursday, November 26, 2026, marking the transition from outgoing CEB Siaka Nawara Gnoumou to incoming CEB Eugene Hien. The ceremony was attended by the Prefect and President of the Special Delegation of Kampti, Massahiba Aime Soulama, along with colleagues, friends, and relatives of both officials.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Siaka Nawara Gnoumou delivered a positive assessment of his tenure, noting that the CEB's academic performance had remained above 60% since his arrival. He highlighted the organization of an Excellence Day and the reopening of all schools previously closed due to insecurity. Gnoumou expressed that he was leaving his post with "a sense of duty fulfilled."

Eugene Hien, the new CCEB, expressed gratitude to "the Heavenly Father" and thanked the Ministry of Basic Education, Literacy, and the Promotion of National Languages for their trust. He intends to consolidate the achievements of his predecessor and address the challenges facing the Kampti CEB.

Issiaka Ouedraogo, representing the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education in Poni, emphasized that the mission assigned to the new CCEB aligns with the government's educational policy and the guidelines of the progressive and popular revolution.

During the official installation of the new head, Prefect Massahiba Aime Soulama sent a letter of congratulations to Siaka Nawara Gnoumou for his services to the municipality of Kampti. He offered advice to the incoming CCEB, reaffirming the special delegation's commitment to supporting the CEB in achieving its objectives.

In addition to the ceremony, the outgoing CCEB presented certificates of merit to several teachers who achieved a success rate of over 80% in the CEP during the last session.
