Inspector Konowie Sora Assumes Leadership of Balave Basic Education District

Balave: Inspector Konowie Sora officially takes the reins of the Balave Basic Education District. The new Head of the Basic Education District (CCEB) of Balave was installed in his functions on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in the meeting room of the Balave town hall.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was chaired by the President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Balave and attended by customary and religious authorities, school directors, and members of school councils. It featured the handover of duties between Boureima Kini, the outgoing CCEB, and Konowie Sora, the incoming CCEB.

The event also highlighted several recognitions to Boureima Kini for his eight years of service to the basic education district of Balave. In his remarks, Mr. Sora expressed gratitude to his predecessor for his loyal service and emphasized his commitment to fulfilling his mission. He called for the full cooperation of all colleagues to achieve set objectives and promised to strive for excellence at the Balave CEB.

The prefect congratulated Inspector Sora on his new role, expressing confidence in his ability to achieve excellence due to his extensive background and considerable experience. Augustin Dembele, representing the provincial director of preschool, primary, and non-formal education for the BANWA region, encouraged the incoming CCEB and urged all school principals, teachers, and partners to support the new head of the district in accomplishing significant results.
