Tansila: Members of the special municipal delegation of Tansila handed over food products worth approximately 1 million CFA francs to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) on Sunday, December 7, 2025. This handover was attended by representatives of the various social strata of the municipality.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Tansila municipality, Amadou Coulibaly, and his staff presented the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) with a donation of food supplies. The donation consisted of 1.75 tons of rice (12 fifty-kilogram bags and 19 twenty-five-liter bags), four twenty-liter containers and twelve five-liter containers of oil, and 43 cartons of 40 packets of spaghetti, all valued at nearly one million CFA francs.

The PDS addressed the VDP, commending the volunteers for their commitment and determination in securing the municipality. He offered them advice to help them succeed in their work. Kisatere Dioma, the VDP representative, thanked the donors and promised they would make good use of the supplies. "This donation is very welcome and will provide some relief to the volunteers in the fight against terrorism," he emphasized.

All the speakers advocated for unity and social cohesion for a peaceful community in Tansila.
