Koulpelogo: The Provincial Committee of the Red Cross organized a cleanup day this Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Ouargaye town hall.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the committee's president, Armand Noukoubri, stated that the initiative aims to clean and beautify the town hall's work environment.

He explained that the town hall has always supported the Red Cross in carrying out its humanitarian activities, particularly aid distribution operations for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and vulnerable host households in the municipality. "It seemed important to us, at the beginning of this year, to perform a civic duty by cleaning up this place that regularly supports our humanitarian work," Mr. Noukoubri stated.

This clean-up day is part of a dynamic of recognition, solidarity, and strengthening of collaboration between the Burkina Faso Red Cross and the municipal authorities of Ouargaye.
