Kndougou: The Kndougou branch of the Homeland Defense Front (FDP) organized a public conference in Orodara on Saturday, January 10, 2026. The conference, chaired by Bassama Ko, Secretary General of the Kndougou Province, focused on the theme: 'Citizenship and Patriotic Commitment.'
According to Burkina Information Agency, the conference featured two presentations. The first, delivered by the Provincial Director of Youth, Hi Seydou, addressed youth and social media, highlighting their opportunities, risks, and the legal framework governing them. The second presentation, by Lassan Sawadogo, the Provincial Coordinator of the FDP, discussed the achievements of the MPSR II (Second Phase of the National Reform Program), particularly in the areas of security, health, and agriculture.
Oumar Traor, provincial coordinator of the Front for the Defense of the Homeland (FDP), Kndougou branch, stated that the objective of this activity was to raise awareness among the population about the achievements of the MPSR II (Priority for the Promotion of Social Renewal) and the benefits of presidential initiatives. Seydou Traor, provincial director of secondary education and vocational and technical training for Tuy, speaking on behalf of the sponsors, invited the participants to act as ambassadors for the sustainable development of the province and the preservation of public assets.
Bassama Ko, secretary general of Kndougou province, commended the organizers' initiative and encouraged the participants to support presidential actions. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the 13 community coordinators.
