Koosin: Communication stakeholders are working together to strengthen the dissemination of reliable information. The provincial director in charge of Communication for Koosin, Sanou Dembele, met on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in Nouna, with communication stakeholders to discuss a synergy of action to relay accurate information for the benefit of the population.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the consultation meeting is part of a dynamic communication strategy initiated by the highest authorities in the country. It plays a strategic role in raising awareness and informing the public within the context of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP).

To align with the current context, the meeting aimed to better equip stakeholders with the vision of the Department of Communication and also to establish contact with media professionals in the province who provide media coverage at the provincial level.

For the first time since the provincial director took office, several press outlets and communication structures participated, including the local correspondents of the Burkina Information Agency (C-AIB), and the online news outlets Timbanews and Burkina web.net, although radio stations were not represented.

Sanou Dembele, the provincial director in charge of communication for Koosin, commended the media professionals for their commitment and hard work despite their limited resources. He stressed that the government is counting on the various communication actors to contribute to social cohesion and living together for sustainable development for the benefit of the population.
