The Sabou health district organized a sanitation day on Wednesday, January 21, which mobilized municipal authorities and civil society at the town's medical center, with a view to improving the immediate environment of the health facility.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the activity brought together municipal authorities, healthcare personnel, and civil society organizations. Equipped with cleaning tools, participants carried out sanitation work on the premises, demonstrating their commitment to a clean and welcoming healthcare environment.

This initiative comes just days before the official opening of the new maternity ward at the Sabou medical center, scheduled for January 26, 2026.
