Ouagadougou: Beyond physical effort, the government provides over 100 tons of cement to Faso Mbo. The Burkinabe government, led by Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Oudraogo, paved an area of more than 156 square meters on Saturday at the Faso Mbo agency construction site, located on Boulevard Thomas Sankara, and pledged to deliver over 100 tons of cement to the structure.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for more than an hour and a half, members of the government laid paving stones on Thomas Sankara Boulevard in Ouagadougou, translating their spirit of patriotism and concrete contribution to the building of the homeland. ‘We came this morning to, once again, demonstrate our support and the total commitment of the government to the Faso Mbo project and, more generally, to the instructions, guidelines, and above all the momentum initiated by our comrade President of Faso,’ said the head of government.
On this occasion, the government reminded all Burkinabe that Faso Mbo is a people’s project and that everyone is called upon to take part in the national construction effort. “There is already an exemplary mobilization around the Faso Mbo agency initiative, but the commitment and mobilization must be strengthened further,” stressed the Prime Minister.
Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Oudraogo also invited citizens to dedicate some of their free time to supporting the construction effort by participating in activities carried out on the construction sites opened by Faso Mbo. According to him, the greatest pride for every Burkinabe will be to claim their share of contribution to the building of the homeland legitimately.
“In five or ten years, when we pass by this avenue again, whatever our position, we will still be able to proudly say that we contributed to the beautification of this road which bears the name of our national hero, Comrade Captain Thomas Sankara,” he concluded.
