Ouahigouya: The President of the special delegation of the commune of Ouahigouya, Amos D. Lankoand©, presided over the open day of the Center for Permanent Education and Youth Development (CEPDJ) as observed by AIB. Young people were encouraged to take ownership of this Center for their own development.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the CEPDJ in Ouahigouya has been revitalized through the efforts of Burkina Faso authorities and their development partners. This initiative aims to ensure the full development of young people in this region. The open day organizers aimed to familiarize participants, particularly the youth, with the services and benefits offered by the CEPDJ, promoting attendance at the center.
In his inaugural address, PDS Lankoand© commended the foresight of the authorities in prioritizing youth in public action. He emphasized the importance of providing young people with structured, safe, and meaningful spaces in a rapidly changing world.
During the event, the director of CEPDJ, Pouliam Djiguimd©, highlighted that the center now features a fully operational health service offering a range of free services to young people. Mr. Djiguimd© assured that his team is ready to support and guide young people in developing their project plans whenever needed.
